Pods, fit-out, and getting the module onto your site.

Everything Fropodz offers falls into one of six lines of work. Each one is quoted as a defined scope with its inclusions written down.

Backyard studio pods

A single insulated room for a studio, gym, workshop or hobby space. Framed, clad, lined and finished as one module, then set down behind the existing house.

Typically specified with a full-height glazed opening, one or two windows for cross ventilation, and a floor finish chosen for the use rather than the showroom.

Studio

Home office pods

A powered workspace physically separated from the house, with acoustic insulation in the walls and ceiling so a call in the pod is not a call in the kitchen.

Planned around a real desk wall, data and power outlet positions, and glazing placed to keep the afternoon sun off a screen.

Workspace

Guest & ancillary pods

A larger module planned for overnight use, with the layout and rough-in required for a bathroom and kitchenette so services can be connected once it is in position.

Ancillary dwellings are subject to your local government requirements. We build to the drawings you have approval for, and tell you at the outset what approvals the design will need.

Ancillary

Interior fit-out & joinery

Linings, built-in storage, benches, shelving and finishes installed in the module while it is still in the workshop, where the work is easier to do well and easier to check.

Available as part of a new pod or as a scope on its own for a shell you already have on site.

Fit-out

Delivery, lift & install

Transport to your address, the lift or forklift movement into position, and levelling on the prepared footings. Access is confirmed at site-check stage so the truck does not arrive to a surprise.

Where a crane is required, that requirement and its cost appear in the quote rather than as a variation on delivery day.

Logistics

Relocation & maintenance

A pod is a module, so it can be lifted again. We relocate pods we have built when a property changes hands or a use changes, and re-level or re-seal them when needed.

External touch-ups, hardware replacement and cladding repairs are handled as a scoped visit.

Scope, in writing

What a Fropodz quote covers — and what it does not.

Most disputes on a small build come from an assumption nobody wrote down. Our quotes name both sides of the line before anything is ordered.

  • Included: the module, its finishes schedule, transport and set-down
  • Named separately: footings and site preparation
  • Owner-arranged: final plumbing and electrical connections, and any local government approvals

Which of these is the job you have?

Tell us the use, the rough footprint you have in mind and how a truck would reach the spot. That is enough for a first answer.
